The Chicago Region of Lambda Alpha International is a professional society 501(c) 6 under the United States Internal Revenue Code. Internationally, LAI functions as a confederation of Chapters, and the Presidents of each local Chapter are members of the LAI's Board of Governors,
Locally, we operate under a Board of Directors. In addition to the President, President-elect, Treasurer, and Secretary, our board comprises VPs who serve as committee chairs, and directors-at-large who support the chapter through committee service.
Nominations for new board members open in July of each year.
